Airport parking
Please use our specialist search facility above to find fantastic deals on airport parking.
Driving to the airport, parking your car, taking your business trip / holiday and then returning to pick up your car and drive home is simplicity itself. For numerous reasons, airports are often awkwardly located and some are tricky to get to on pubic transport. With flights coming and going at all hours this is made doubly so.
Try getting to Heathrow Airport from central London for a 7am flight without getting a taxi. Almost impossible. So the flexibility afforded to people who drive to the airport and park up for the duration of their holiday is huge. Secure as the parking is too, means that the safety of your car is also another thing off your mind for your trip. There will be no time spent wondering if the local lads will be playing football perilously close to it now!
Secure parking
Parking is not necessarily cheap though at most airports - long term parking can cost tens of pounds and upwards depending on how long you stay. But compared with the cost of rail tickets or taxis to and from the airport, plus the inconvenience of carrying bags and presents can make airport parking more than competitive.
Parking at international airports around the world is naturally well catered for. Although not limitless, there should be a parking space for you if you want one. Car parks are either run directly by the airport authorities or by private enterprises renting space from the airport of based nearby. Since parking by the terminals is quite hard, many car parks offer a “park and ride” scheme to the airport once you have parked your car.
Advance booking is king
Booking in advance and online can also offer discounts and better rates too- check if these are available at your chosen airport. Or if you are a frequent flyer, check to see if there are any monthly or annual deals you could purchase- these could be considerably cheaper in the long run.
You can also pay for enhanced services too- business customers can receive an enhanced service and closer positioning to terminals for a greater fee; or some airports offer a valet service which speeds up times immensely too. If you are pushed for time, these might be worth the extra cost.
The first port of call for any booking or enquiry is the airport website- check what services are on offer there. A quick internet search will then bring up any further options which could save you money or offer a better deal.
